Chapter 6

　　Will I see you again beautiful?

　　At a point, she stood Infront of him, bringing us all to a stop. She looks like she was going to cry. She searched his eyes, then asked with a calm voice.

　　"How are you feeling now? I wanted to laugh, because I know Myles is fine, but maybe not in the mood for question and answer drama.

　　Myles only nodded, he still looked too weak to respond.

　　Please don't you ever scare me like that again? she says to him and he feigned a smile.

　　And what was that thing you gave to him anyways? She was asking me.

　　I had to tell her, for I too never want to see Myles in such a situation ever again.

　　"I gave him Mango juice with menthol.

　　Myles have a few things he is allergic to, so you have to be careful, especially now that we are going to be away from home. You will see him more than I do, you have to be sure, he doesn't take Ovaltine, if he must take tea, it has to be with Lipton". I was still talking, when she screamed.

　　"But I hate taking tea with Lipton, I mean I am already too slim and well shaped, I don't need to add to it? She cries, thinking that sounds funny, because Myles was laughing, but she actually sounds annoying, so I ignored her and continued.

　　Also, you cannot make him eat stew, you have to add vegetables to the stew, if you must cook for him and he doesn't eat out, he can only take snacks outside, but not food, the food I saw earlier, I thought it belonged to you? I asked Ariana. When I remembered that I had met a stew rice on the table, but Ariana was the one eating it.

　　"Yes I was the one eating, but I just asked him to take a bite and that happened". She says, Innocently.

　　"Well, I will take it that you didn't know, now you know, he could be hurt just like that, so please, do not do that again. If you cannot bring yourself to eat what he wants, then you rule out eating together. The only meal you can both share together is snacks that have vegetables in it". I was happy to be schooling her about him. I was happy to show off that I know my guy better, even though he is only my guy in my head and in my dreams, I still wish things will turn out differently for us.

　　Ariana moved to the side with Myles, holding him really close, and for the first time, I was happy with her, for she looks like she sincerely cares for him.

　　She had him seat on the passenger's seat, while she took hold of the steering, since all the things we got, were kept in the boot of the car. I sat at the back with Ariana's cousin, whom I am yet to know.

　　Ariana was driving smoothly and had almost reached the house, when Her cousin started talking, and I pretended like I was not the one he was talking to, as a matter of fact, I never thought he was talking to me, because since I got to Wallingford and met him, he haven't opened his mouth to say a word to me. At a point I thought he was dumb.

　　"I like people like you, who take in every little detail about their friends". He says, but I didn't respond, then he touched me and repeated what he says, but instead of answering him, I asked him in return.

　　"Do you talk? He laughed, I guess he understands why I was asking.

　　"Off course I do, and I am sorry for making you think I don't, the truth is that I usually like to watch my environment very well, before mingling, or letting people know the kind of person I am.

　　Though I didn't want to admit to myself, but his voice, had me looking at him again and again.

　　His voice was a blend of mellifluous rich tones, resonating with warmth and depth, like a soothing melody, that effortlessly captivate anyone who was paying attention, because even his cousin turned back to look at him.

　　I really cannot place his voice, maybe I should say his voice carried the velvety timbre of a seasoned story teller. as he was speaking to me, I don't think I heard much from him, it was just the sound of his voice. With each word, gracefully flowing, with an enchanting cadence.

　　He was quite funny and there was this alluring charisma that he had, that within minutes in the backseat, he was already making me laugh, with what he was saying.

　　He was lashing at his cousin, saying terrible things about her, about when they were all living like a family and all, which seem to really annoy Ariana. It was nice to see that she was angry.

　　Even Myles soon started laughing to his joke, that I forgot that I haven't asked him his name. when we alighted, Myles came down, and walked with Ariana, but I had to tell this new guy the truth.

　　"You are really funny". He scuffled, then said.

　　"I get that all the time, I have also heard that girls loves funny guys, but no one seem to be interested in having me as their boyfriend". That sounded funny, but I didn't want to laugh, for I don't want him thinking because he has made me laugh, then I am available for him to hit on me.

　　Ariana and Myles moved further aside to talk, they spoke for a long time, while I was speaking with her cousin that wouldn't stop making me laugh. When Ariana was done, she started walking towards us, then he whispers.

　　"The villain is coming". I started laughing, for that is exactly what I would have said to her.

　　Kiara, please do not allow him drive, just take him home". She handed the keys to me and I nodded, but her cousin didn't seem to be done talking with me yet.

　　"Will I see you again beautiful? I blushed and nodded.

　　"I am Kiara". I introduced myself.

　　"Oh, my bad, I am Darius, so nice to see you". He kissed my hands and I don't know, but I felt something, I immediately took back my hands and walked quickly to the car, I drove Myles to his house, and couldn't go home that night, I stayed with him at his lodge, I needed to make sure, he was fine.
