Chapter 1
"Alarmberedskab!
Efterlade mig her uden en smule omsorg?'
Russells private fest i aften?"
Banketten. For fire år siden.
Resultatet?
Mindet sved. Hvor ynkelig hun havde været. Blind og tåbelig. Julian foragtede hende, og hun havde spildt år på at forsøge at vinde hans kærlighed.
Cleo spærrede øjnene op i overraskelse, men forstod hurtigt Cecilias følelser.
Hr. Russell er stadig ligeglad med hende." Qiana, en smule utilfreds, hævede stemmen.
Elowen fnisede, hendes delikate øreringe svajede, "Præcis. Da jeg ankom, hyggede Hr. Russell sig stadig med sin elskerinde udenfor. Der bliver en god scene senere."
Da hun hørte deres ord, fandt Cecilia bare deres samtale morsom.
"Hold det her."

Everyone looked in that direction and there was a man standing there that I had never noticed before. But I didn't know who he was. I was frozen in the spot and this man was just staring at us with pure hatred in his eyes. But then I realized that the hatred was for Mason. Not me.
"Mine." He demanded.
