After hanging up the phone, Hazel’s excitement and joy quickly dissipated. The cost of the drug was around 1.5 million per month and it left her helpless and powerless. She was persistent. “Are you looking for Jack?” Noah’s voice suddenly rose a few decibels, and he glanced at Jack with a hint of malice in his eyes. Jack coldly returned his gaze and then glanced meaningfully at the phone in Noah’s hand. Having grown up together, Noah understood the message even without Jack saying anything. So, he turned on the speakerphone. Hazel who was in rose villa, didn’t beat around the bush and asked directly, “Noah, is Jack with you?”
