Sentì la porta del bagno aprirsi dietro di lei. Pochi istanti dopo, Henry uscì, ancora umido, avvolto in un accappatoio bianco che metteva in risalto i suoi addominali scolpiti e il petto sodo, apparendo sexy e attraente.
"Per quanto tempo pensi di continuare a guardare?" Henry prese il telefono dalla mano di Grace, le diede un'occhiata e iniziò a vestirsi.

Grace lo rincorse, abbassando il tono, affermando, "Non mi importa della fatica! Voglio lavorare. Posso suonare il violino."
Henry non aveva la pazienza di ascoltare.
Nella sua mente, Grace era come un delicato canarino, abituato a essere mantenuto, non adatto all'esposizione o alle difficoltà.
Guardò il suo orologio. "Il tempo è scaduto!"
Se ne andò senza pensarci due volte. Grace non riuscì a fermarlo e riuscì solo a chiedere mentre lui afferrava la maniglia della porta, "È il compleanno di mio padre sabato. Hai tempo?"
Henry si fermò e disse, "Non lo so."
Detto ciò, si girò e se ne andò.
Pochi minuti dopo, le domestiche salirono al piano di sopra. Sapevano che Henry e Grace avevano una relazione travagliata, così dissero, "Il signor Montague ha affari importanti a Harmony City. Seduta sul divano, Grace si prese un momento per raccogliersi. Con voce sommessa, disse, "Li laverò a mano."

Grace sorrise amaramente. Come poteva essere il denaro di Henry il suo?
