Chapter 04: The Awakening Of Eros-7.
Jade's POV
“Interested?”
The voice slithered over my shoulder, silky and dangerous. I spun, my brow arched.
A tall woman in a black suit stood behind me. Crimson lipstick, sleek bun, the type who looked like she could sell poison with a smile.
I snorted. “Interested? Honey, unless one of them got a dick swinging between their thighs, I ain’t interested.”
Her lips curved in the kind of smile that promised secrets. “Follow me.”
Something in her tone made it impossible to say no. My heels clicked against the polished floor as she led me through a glass corridor. The air changed..colder, heavier, humming with electricity. The faint smell of steel and ozone teased my nose. Then she opened a door. And I froze.
The room stretched wide, glowing in soft blue light. Pods lined the walls, each holding a body. Not mannequins. Not plastic.
Men.
Perfect men.
Skin so flawless it looked kissed by the gods, muscles cut like marble, and between their legs… I nearly swallowed my tongue. Thick. Heavy. Swinging low. Every single one of them looked built to ruin lives.
My hand flew to my chest. “What the actual…”
“You won’t find humans built like this,” the woman said smoothly, stepping closer. “Any size, any girth, any stamina. All yours to choose from.”
My imagination ran wild, spread across silk sheets, one of these fine-ass creations filling me exactly how I always fantasized. I bit down on my lip, heat crawling between my thighs. But before I could float away on lust, she chuckled.
“Don’t glory yet.”
“Why not?” My voice came out husky, hungry.
She tilted her head, eyes glittering. “Because they cost a fortune.”
I smirked and whipped out my card like a damn queen. “Swipe it.”
Her brows shot up, but she didn’t argue. The transaction beeped and dinged, money sucked straight out my account.
My stomach flipped. Excitement? Regret? Maybe both. Then my phone buzzed.
Sasha.
“Where are you?” she demanded.
“Somewhere dangerous,” I teased, rattling off directions.
Ten seconds later, Sasha burst through the door. She froze, eyes bugging out at the sight of the male robots standing like gods in glass cages.
“Jade, tell me you didn’t...”
“I did,” I said proudly. “Already bought him.”
Her jaw hit the floor. “Bought...what? Why?”
“Why?” I snapped. “Because look at them, Sasha! This is perfection. You think I’m about to settle for some broke-ass human dick when I can have one of these?”
Her voice dropped, trembling. “Jade… that’s iron. Cold machinery. You can’t..” she swallowed, “...you can’t shove a metal cock inside you.”
My world tilted. “Wait. What?”She nodded, dead serious.
“Fuck. Fuck. Fuuuck!” My hands flew into my hair. “What the hell was I thinking?” I whirled on the woman. “Refund me. Now.”
Her smile was all teeth. “No refund policy.”
“You’re sick upstairs.” I jabbed my finger at her. “You knew damn well I thought this was...” I flailed my hands, “...human dick! Not… not steel pipe fittings!”
Her eyes narrowed. “I didn’t put words in your mouth. You wanted satisfaction. You signed.”
“Lady, I just dropped 80 thousand dollars. You think I won’t burn this whole place down if I don’t get my money back?”
Her smirk didn’t budge. “Policy is clear.”
“Policy my ass!” I snapped.
Sasha grabbed my arm. “Jade! Please! Stop. In this city, once you consent, it’s final. You can’t claw it back.”
“Oh, watch me.”I yanked free and stormed out, stomping through the corridor with murder in my eyes. The crowd parted as I burst into the main hall.
“I need to speak to the fucking manager!” I shouted.
The air went dead silent. Dozens of heads turned. Murmurs spread like wildfire. Some laughed, some whispered. A man muttered,
“Crazy bitch.”
Good.
Let them talk.Security escorted me into a private lounge. Cold walls, polished chrome table, air thick with intimidation.
“Explain,” one of the suited men ordered, calm but sharp.I planted my hands on the table.
“I came here for satisfaction. I put down my money, and some slick-ass salesgirl decided to scam me. Sold me iron dick dressed as pleasure. No warnings. No human option. You people think you can outsmart me?”
“Breathe, Miss Jade.” His tone was maddeningly calm.I sucked in air through my teeth, chest heaving, ready to rip them apart, Until a new sound cut through the air.
Low.
Metallic.
A voice like thunder announced. "Eros-7 is awake.
The words rolled across the room, chilling me to the bone. Everyone stiffened. Heads snapped toward the screen lining the wall.
I turned slowly, my heart hammering. Inside a glass chamber, a figure stirred. He was tall. Broad-shouldered. Dark hair falling into his eyes.
His chest rose and fell like something learning to breathe for the first time. Light pulsed from the veins under his skin, glowing faint blue.
Then, slowly, it dimmed. His eyes opened...bright, electric, inhuman at first, before softening into something terrifyingly close to human.
Gasps rippled across the room. “Subject Eros-7… is fully conscious,” a voice echoed through the speakers.
My breath caught, legs shaking as heat spiraled low in my belly. He wasn’t like the others. He wasn’t just cold machinery. And I knew, in that moment...It was the beginning of everything. Everything sexual and sexual..
