Chapter 5

Afterwards, Michael carried Sophia to the bathroom.

They had been having sex for so long that Sophia was completely exhausted, and even the cleanup was done by Michael.

In the bathroom, Michael's large hands were anything but well-behaved, constantly roaming over Sophia's body.

Hearing her suppressed moans, Michael became even more excited.

His erection stood tall again, and her vaginal discharge had already started to flow down her legs.

Michael's hand slid from her abdomen to between her legs, and he chuckled softly as he looked at the sticky fluid on his hand.

"Your body is much more honest than you are."

Sophia's face turned red with embarrassment, and she angrily punched Michael.

In the bathroom, Michael pressed Sophia down and took her again and again, as if venting the fire within him.

It wasn't until she hoarsely begged for mercy that Michael finally let her go.

He carefully washed her body, then carried her to bed.

Sophia was so tired that she couldn't keep her eyes open. She had originally planned to go home after they were done, but now she just wanted to sleep.

After having sex for so long, Michael was very satisfied.

Holding Sophia, he quickly fell asleep.

Michael woke up early the next morning.

Sophia was very quiet while she slept, and Michael carefully pulled his arm out from under her.

Unexpectedly, he still woke her up.

Sophia opened her eyes and looked around the unfamiliar environment, feeling a bit confused.

When she saw Michael, her eyes widened instantly.

She sat up abruptly, clutching the blanket, and Michael's body was exposed in front of her.

"Why aren't you wearing any clothes?" Sophia's face turned red with embarrassment and she asked. Despite their intimate contact, she still felt shy seeing him like this.

Michael found it very amusing and sat up calmly, his erection faintly visible.

He asked, "Who do you know that sleeps with clothes on?"

Sophia was at a loss for words and kept comforting herself in her mind.

Sophia asked, "What time is it?"

Today was her first day at work, and Sophia didn't want to be late.

Even with Michael's assurance, she still hoped to earn her place at the Horizon Corporation through her own efforts.

"It's five-thirty, it's still early. You can sleep a bit more," Michael said after checking the time.

Sophia shook her head and asked, "Can you take me home?"

She needed to go back and get ready; she couldn't just show up at the Horizon Corporation like this.

Hearing this, Michael didn't respond immediately and just looked at her quietly.

Sophia felt a bit unhappy. Just as she was about to repeat herself, she saw Michael get out of bed.

"Put on your clothes." Michael's attitude suddenly turned cold.

Noticing this, Sophia felt a bit puzzled, but her mind was preoccupied with how to explain things to Olivia when she got home.

After a night of drinking and not coming home, the idea of being a mistress was hard to explain.

Seeing Michael go to the bathroom, Sophia finally picked up her clothes and put them on.

Yesterday's sex had been too intense, and she still felt weak in her legs.

Half an hour later, they were both in the car.

The atmosphere in the car was tense, and Sophia sat in the passenger seat, not daring to breathe too loudly.

Fortunately, nothing unexpected happened along the way.

Forty minutes later, the car stopped at the same spot as yesterday.

Michael lit a cigarette, and Sophia opened the car door. "Mr. Johnson, I'm heading back now."

"Okay," Michael responded indifferently.

As soon as the car door closed, he quickly started the car and drove away.

Sophia had wanted to say goodbye, but her raised hand awkwardly dropped.

She couldn't help but complain about Michael's mood swings.

Back at her apartment, Sophia carefully walked into the bedroom.

Seeing that Olivia was still asleep, she quietly slipped to the other side and lay down.

"Why are you up so early?" Olivia turned over and asked.

Sophia stiffened in surprise and awkwardly smiled, "I just went to the bathroom."

After a while without a response, Sophia turned her head and saw that Olivia had fallen back asleep.

After a night of tossing and turning, Sophia quickly fell asleep.

It wasn't until the alarm went off that she felt some relief from her sore body.

Struggling to get out of bed, Sophia also woke up Olivia.

The two of them sat on the bed in a daze, and Olivia yawned, "I'm never drinking that much again. I feel like my head is going to explode."

Sophia agreed, and they both laughed.

After quickly washing up and putting on makeup, Sophia left the house.

From the apartment to the Horizon Corporation, she had to take a bus and then transfer to the subway.

A half-hour commute, which Sophia was quite satisfied with. On her first day, she made sure to leave a bit early.

Standing in front of the Horizon Corporation, Sophia gave herself a pep talk, "You got this."

Then she walked in with determined steps.

Arriving at the HR department, Sophia knocked on the door and waited for a response before entering.

"Hi, I'm the new intern assistant, Sophia."

The HR manager looked up and, upon seeing Sophia, a hint of delight flashed in his eyes as he looked her up and down.

Sophia didn't know him well, but she had seen his name tag when she signed the contract yesterday.

She remembered his name, Robert Davis.

Seeing his gaze, Sophia felt that Robert had some unsavory thoughts.

"Welcome to the Horizon Corporation. Today is your first day. From now on, you'll need to check in with me when you arrive and leave. I'll be evaluating your performance, and whether you stay depends on you," Robert said, his eyes lingering on her.

Sophia maintained a polite smile and replied, "Thank you, Mr. Davis. I'll do my best."

After checking in, Robert escorted Sophia to the assistant department and introduced her to the other assistants.

Seeing that the room was full of beautiful women, Sophia felt a lot of pressure.

"Alright, Sophia, get to know everyone. Here's your workflow; you need to familiarize yourself with it quickly."

Robert handed Sophia a stack of documents, and as he withdrew his hand, he brushed against hers.

Thinking of his lecherous gaze, Sophia felt disgusted.

She discreetly took the documents, "Don't worry, I'll get familiar with it."

Not getting what he wanted, Robert's expression darkened, but he couldn't lose his temper in front of everyone.

He forced a smile, "Work hard. If you have any questions, ask right away. We don't keep slackers in the assistant department."

Sophia smiled and nodded, watching Robert leave.

In the large office, there was only one seat left.

Sophia was about to walk over and sit down when the door opened again.

Seeing Michael appear, the other female assistants immediately beamed with smiles.

Michael didn't even glance at them and focused his gaze on Sophia. "You, come with me."

Under the envious gazes of the other assistants, Sophia had no choice but to follow him out.
