Adrain didn’t move an inch, and neither did his grip on my arm. His jaw flexed, his breathing sharp and shallow. “And if I don’t? Let me guess, you’ll make me?”, he said through his teeth.

Cassian’s eyes darkened. “You seem to forget your place, Adrian.”
