Chapter 81
Olivia's POV
The air around us seemed to shift, crackling with a heat and urgency that sent a shiver down my spine. Ethan’s eyes bore into mine, his wolf at the surface, a molten amber that matched the storm of emotions brewing within me.
The moonlight filtered through the clouds, bathing us in its glow, making the moment feel sacred.
His hand cupped my cheek, rough and warm, as his thumb traced a path that left tingles in its wake. “Olivia,” he murmured, his voice deep and raw, heavy with something I couldn’t quite name. “I can’t wait any longer.”
Neither could I.
The words hovered between us, unspoken but understood, as if the bond pulling us together had finally reached a tipping point. He surged forward, lips crashing against mine.
The kiss was a collision of passion and desperation, as if we were both trying to make up for all the time lost, all the moments we’d held ourselves back.
With a fierce, primal strength, Ethan tore my clothes from my body and pressed me down onto the ground. The earth was cold and damp beneath me, a stark contrast to the heat emanating from his body as he held me firmly in place.
My heart raced with a mix of anticipation and desire as I looked up into his intense gaze, every muscle in his body taut with barely controlled power.
The world around us melted away until there was only Ethan; his touch, his scent, the quick beating of his heart against mine.
“I’ve wanted this,” I whispered against his lips, my voice shaky but firm. “You. Us.”
His response was a low growl that vibrated through me, primal and possessive. “You’re mine, Olivia.”
The words unlocked something within me, a deep certainty that no matter how much I doubted or danced around it, this was where I was meant to be.
With him.
The walls I’d built around my heart crumbled, and all that was left was love, raw and unfiltered.
Ethan leaned his forehead against mine, his breathing heavy, his control fraying. “I need you to say it, Olivia.”
“Yes,” I breathed, my fingers threading through his hair. “Mark me, Ethan. Make me yours.”
Those words broke the last of his restraint. With a low growl, he buried his face in the crook of my neck, inhaling deeply. His canines elongated, sharpening to points to scrape seductively against my oversensitive skin.
"Mine," He growled, voice barely recognizable.
In one quick motion, he flipped me over pressing his cock to my entrance. I tilted my head, baring my throat to him, offering him the bond we couldn’t deny.
Ethan's teeth sank into my flesh as he entered me in one powerful thrust. The sharp pain of the bite mingled with the exquisite fullness, sending shockwaves of pleasure through my body.
I cried out, my fingers digging into the earth beneath us.
He held still for a moment, his tongue soothing over the mark he'd made. The sting faded, replaced by a warmth that spread through me, settling deep in my core.
"Olivia," Ethan breathed, his voice thick with wonder. "My Mate."
Those words unleashed something primal within me. I pushed back against him, desperate for more. Ethan growled, his hands gripping my hips as he began to really move.
Each thrust was deliberate, claiming me body and soul.
The bond slammed into place like a tidal wave, crashing through every barrier I had ever built around my heart and mind. The intensity left me trembling in Ethan’s arms, my breaths coming shallow as I clung to him.
His mark pulsed on my neck, the connection it forged between us both exciting and overwhelming.
My wolf howled in triumph, but beneath her joy was an ocean of emotions too vast to name: love, fear, longing, hope, and an ache I hadn’t even realized I’d carried.
“Ethan,” I whispered, my voice trembling. “It’s too much.”
His arms wrapped around me like steel bands, anchoring me to him in my emotional storm. Ethan lifted me up to sit on his lap, his shaft still buried deep inside my core.
With a possessive growl, he spun me around and captured my lips in a ferocious kiss that left me breathless and craving more.
“I’ve got you,” he said, his voice a steady anchor in the chaos. “Breathe, Luna. Just breathe.”
I tried, but the bond seemed to amplify everything: the raw power of his emotions bleeding into mine, the weight of his devotion, his protectiveness, his love.
My own feelings tangled with his, forming something so vast it threatened to swallow me whole.
And then it happened.
A sudden clarity, like a door opening between us, and I felt it: my empathy surging through the bond, pouring into Ethan. I froze, panic tightening my chest. He must have felt it too, and for a moment, I worried it would be too much for him.
But Ethan didn’t pull away. Instead, he leaned into it, into me.
His eyes locked onto mine, shining with understanding. “So, this is you,” he murmured, his voice awed and reverent. “My Luna.”
Unable to speak, my tears spilled over as I looked away and struggled to contain the flood of emotions between us.
Ethan cupped my face, his touch tender but firm. “Don’t hide from me,” he demanded. “I feel it. I feel you. And I need you to know that this—” his tongue lapped over the Mark he’d made, sending a jolt through me, “— you — are more than I deserve.”
My chest constricted, a crushing weight bearing down on me as his words hit like a sledgehammer. "You mean that?" I choked out, barely able to speak.
"Every damn word," he growled, a tear falling from his eye as he pressed his forehead to mine. "You are my second chance, Olivia. My Fated Mate. This bond... it's real and unbreakable."
The sincerity in his tone, the unwavering conviction of his emotions weaving with mine, shattered something inside me. A gut-wrenching sob tore through me, but it wasn't out of sorrow - it was the release that came with finally surrendering.
Ethan held me steady in his arms. "No matter what," he murmured softly, "this bond is ours, my love. And nothing - no one - can ever sever it."
The truth of his words, the unbreakable strength of our connection, settled deep within me. For the first time in my life, I didn’t just feel loved, but truly seen and understood.
I felt Ethan twitch inside me, growing impossibly thicker.
I gasped, my body responding instinctively to his arousal. The intensity of our emotional connection had momentarily overshadowed the physical, but now that need came roaring back to life.
Ethan's hands tightened on my hips, his eyes blazing with renewed hunger. "I need you," he growled, his voice rough with desire. "All of you."
I nodded, unable to form words as he began to move. Each thrust sent shockwaves of pleasure through me, amplified by the bond that pulsed between us. I could feel his desire, his need, as clearly as my own.
Our bodies moved together in perfect synchronicity, as if we'd been made for this moment. I arched my back, taking him deeper, reveling in the way he filled me so completely.
"Mine," Ethan growled.
My wolf howled in agreement, as my own canines extended, sharp and deadly, and I sank them into Ethan’s shoulder, marking him equally.
Mine.
