Chapter 2 Bad Man
Five years later.
"Finn, are you sure our father is in that building?" Cleo held up her binoculars, looking at the magnificent building across the way, and asked her brother.
"I'm sure. I watched him go in." Finn kept his eyes glued to his computer. "I saw his photo on Mommy's phone. It's definitely the bad daddy who made Mommy sad."
"Finn, what are you doing?"
"Cleo, bad daddy bullied Mommy. Do you want to get revenge for Mommy?"
"Revenge?"
"Yes, bad daddy is with another woman and made Mommy sad. We need to teach bad daddy a lesson for Mommy."
Finn's eyes were determined. His little hands worked the computer skillfully. After just a few minutes, Finn confidently hit the enter key, and instantly the entire Thomas Group building plunged into darkness.
"Bingo! Success!"
Cleo looked at Finn with admiration and clapped hard for him. "Finn is amazing, Finn is amazing."
"There's more. Watch this." If you thought that was the end of it, no way.
Meanwhile.
In the Thomas Group conference room.
The meeting had just started half an hour ago when the lights flickered and everything went pitch black.
The Thomas Group had its own dedicated power system. This kind of large-scale blackout was unprecedented. And everyone present was a famous entrepreneur—could they be facing a terrorist robbery attack?
At that thought, everyone's hearts tightened, and they quickly pulled out their phones for light.
Joshua, sitting in the main seat, calmly raised his hand and waved at Samuel Harris behind him.
Samuel immediately stepped forward.
"Go see what's going on." As soon as Joshua finished speaking, the huge LCD screen suddenly flickered, and then a pig came bouncing out, wiggling its butt. On top of the pig's head was clearly written... Joshua's name!
Joshua's brow furrowed.
Then a cartoon child appeared, riding on the back of the pig labeled 'Joshua,' whipping 'Joshua's' butt with a whip, shouting, "Joshua is a bad man!"
Instantly, the entire room fell silent!
Hayden Thomas, who had been sitting next to Joshua with his legs crossed, couldn't help but sit up straight, his eyes gradually widening as he stared at the screen, the corner of his mouth twitching.
Then the cartoon child continued pulling on 'Joshua's' pig ears, while 'Joshua' angrily ran around grunting, and the sound continued.
This is outrageous!
Hayden really couldn't control himself and laughed out loud.
What genius came up with this? Hahahaha!
Hayden laughed happily.
Joshua's face was tense, his eyes layered with frost.
The people below bit their teeth hard, their mouths twitching, burying their heads deep on the table.
Sorry Joshua, I'm laughing... I'm trying to keep it really quiet!
The video finished playing.
The next moment, all the lights came back on, and all the expressions hidden in the darkness, with no time to compose themselves, were exposed under the lights.
A chill spread through the air.
"Samuel!" Joshua turned his head to see Samuel seriously lowering his head, teeth clenched tight, working very hard to hold back his laughter!
Joshua's face darkened.
Before Samuel could wipe the smile off his face, a piercing gaze fell on him, instantly scaring him out of his wits. He felt all the blood in his body freezing.
"Very funny?"
A danger signal arrived, and everyone's nerves immediately tensed.
Samuel trembled, shaking his head desperately.
The entire conference room instantly fell silent, frozen solid under those cold, gloomy eyes!
After a long pause.
Joshua lowered his head and flipped through some documents, his handsome face still covered with overwhelming coldness. "What are you standing there for? Do I need to personally invite you to go investigate?"
...
Finn covered his little belly, laughing so hard he was rolling around.
A little lesson for this Joshua, to let him know the consequences of bullying Ava.
But they shouldn't stay here long.
"Cleo, let's go." Finn had already packed up his laptop and put it back in his backpack.
Cleo also put her toy binoculars back in her little bag.
Finn took Cleo's hand, and the two children bounced out of the building. As soon as they stepped outside, a car pulled up steadily in front of them, blocking their way.
