Chapter 1
Vera's POV
My sister Elora and I fought over Kyle for over a decade.
In my first life, I got my wish and married him. Everyone said he cherished me, letting me manage all of Iron Wolf Pack's internal affairs. I worked myself to death, day and night. As I lay dying, he coldly told me the truth: "I never loved you. YOU were the one begging to marry me."
In my second life, I gave the chance to my sister Elora. To win Kyle's favor, she bore four children in five years, ultimately dying in childbirth. I rushed to see her one last time, and she cried out to me: "Kyle doesn't love me either... there's another she-wolf in his heart..."
When I opened my eyes again, it was my third life.
This time, we would NOT repeat the same mistakes.
In the Silver Moon Pack's council hall, pack members sat around the fire discussing patrol arrangements. I sat beside my mother, my inner wolf whimpering uneasily.
That's when an Iron Wolf Pack warrior walked in.
"Members of Silver Moon Pack," the messenger announced loudly, "I come on behalf of Iron Wolf Pack's Alpha heir Kyle to propose marriage."
The name Kyle made my blood run cold.
"Master Kyle requests to marry the Alpha's daughter of Silver Moon Pack."
The Alpha's daughter? I jerked my head up to look at Elora. The same fear and pain flashed through her eyes.
She had been reborn too.
Mother frowned. "Kyle wants to marry which daughter? I have two."
The messenger looked embarrassed. "Well... Master Kyle didn't specify. He said any Alpha's daughter would do."
By tradition, it should be me, the eldest. Everyone waited for my answer.
I stood up and said clearly: "I WON'T marry him."
The hall fell silent instantly, then erupted in shocked whispers.
Elora also stood up: "I won't marry him either."
Now everyone was in an uproar.
"Vera! Elora!" Mother's voice trembled. "Have you lost your minds? Kyle grew up with you! Haven't you always had feelings for him?"
Painful memories from past lives flooded back:
I was skin and bones, coughing blood in bed while Kyle was busy fooling around with other she-wolves. "You're just a tool. Now you're useless."
Elora died covered in blood on the birthing bed, and Kyle didn't even come to see her.
My inner wolf ROARED with fury.
"No. We will NEVER marry Kyle," I said firmly.
The messenger's face darkened. "Vera, this concerns the alliance between two packs. You can't be so selfish."
"My decision won't change." I stared directly at him.
The messenger looked at us, then at our angry mother, finally saying through gritted teeth: "I must report this news to Master Kyle immediately."
He turned and left hastily, leaving a roomful of bewildered pack members.
Mother stamped her feet anxiously. "You're crazy! What will Kyle think now? What if he gets angry..."
Elora and I said nothing.
About an hour later, a powerful Alpha aura suddenly swept through the entire hall. All the Betas and Omegas instinctively lowered their heads, and even my wolf was trembling.
Kyle had arrived.
He pushed aside the curtain and strode in, followed by several Iron Wolf Pack warriors. Even after three lifetimes, facing him still made me nervous.
His gaze lingered on Elora and me, confusion and displeasure flashing in his eyes.
"I heard you refused my proposal?" Kyle frowned. "Why?"
"Because we don't want to marry you," I answered directly.
Kyle was stunned for several seconds, clearly not expecting rejection. He knew both Elora and I had crushes on him.
"Vera, didn't you used to like me?" he said, sounding somewhat hurt. "You once said you wanted to be my mate. I thought you'd be happy..."
Those words sent a sharp pain through my heart. Yes, I had once loved him so much.
"People change," I replied coldly.
Kyle's expression instantly hardened. Then he looked at Elora: "Do you feel the same way?"
Elora nodded: "Yes."
Kyle stood there, his face growing dark. As a future Alpha, being rejected by two females simultaneously was clearly a blow to his ego.
"Very well," Kyle took a deep breath, his voice becoming serious. "It seems you've forgotten something important."
He turned to Mother: "Luna, do you remember the treaty our two packs signed ten years ago?"
Mother nodded: "Of course I remember."
"The treaty clearly states that our two packs need to solidify our alliance through marriage," Kyle said sternly. "This isn't about personal preference—it's a treaty obligation."
The atmosphere in the hall became tense immediately.
Kyle continued: "Of course, I understand girls might need time to adjust." He paused. "But duty is duty, isn't it?"
Mother looked at us helplessly: "Vera, Elora, Kyle is right..."
Kyle nodded, then his tone shifted: "Besides, current circumstances don't allow us to be selfish. Blood Claw Pack has been making moves lately. If our two packs can't unite..."
He didn't finish, but the meaning was clear.
"So I'm giving you three days to think it over," Kyle said, impatience flashing in his eyes. "After three days, regardless of what you think, the marriage MUST proceed. After all, personal feelings cannot override pack safety."
He turned to leave, then suddenly turned back as if remembering something:
"Oh, and yesterday we discovered Blood Claw Pack scouts on the eastern border. Seems they're quite interested in Silver Moon Pack territory."
Kyle sneered: "I hope Silver Moon Pack has enough strength to protect itself."
The threat in that statement couldn't be clearer.
After Kyle left, the hall was dead silent.
Mother looked at us urgently: "Did you hear that? This is no joke! If Blood Claw Pack really attacks..."
Elora and I exchanged glances. Kyle's threat was clear: either marriage, or face Blood Claw Pack's invasion.
My wolf whimpered in my chest. Three days—I had to find a way to protect the pack while not letting Elora and me fall into Kyle's trap again.
But who was Kyle really in love with? Why did he insist on choosing one of us sisters?

After One Night with the Alpha
I thought I was waiting for love. Instead, I got fucked by a beast.
My world was supposed to bloom at the Moonshade Bay Full Moon Festival—champagne buzzing in my veins, a hotel room booked for Jason and me to finally cross that line after two years. I’d slipped into lacy lingerie, left the door unlocked, and lay on the bed, heart pounding with nervous excitement.
But the man who climbed into my bed wasn’t Jason.
In the pitch-black room, drowned in a heady, spicy scent that made my head spin, I felt hands—urgent, scorching—searing my skin. His thick, pulsing cock pressed against my dripping cunt, and before I could gasp, he thrust hard, tearing through my innocence with ruthless force. Pain burned, my walls clenching as I clawed at his iron shoulders, stifling sobs. Wet, slick sounds echoed with every brutal stroke, his body unrelenting until he shuddered, spilling hot and deep inside me.
"That was amazing, Jason," I managed to say.
"Who the fuck is Jason?"
My blood turned to ice. Light slashed across his face—Brad Rayne, Alpha of Moonshade Pack, a werewolf, not my boyfriend. Horror choked me as I realized what I’d done.
I ran away for my life!
But weeks later, I woke up pregnant with his heir!
They say my heterochromatic eyes mark me as a rare true mate. But I’m no wolf. I’m just Elle, a nobody from the human district, now trapped in Brad's world.
Brad’s cold gaze pins me: “You carry my blood. You’re mine.”
There is no other choice for me but to chose this cage. My body also betrays me, craving the beast who ruined me.

Heartbroken, I tricked him into signing divorce papers.
George remained unconcerned, convinced I would never leave him.
His deceptions continued until the day the divorce was finalized. I threw the papers in his face: "George Capulet, from this moment on, get out of my life!"
Only then did panic flood his eyes as he begged me to stay.
When his calls bombarded my phone later that night, it wasn't me who answered, but my new boyfriend Julian.
"Don't you know," Julian chuckled into the receiver, "that a proper ex-boyfriend should be as quiet as the dead?"
George seethed through gritted teeth: "Put her on the phone!"
"I'm afraid that's impossible."
Julian dropped a gentle kiss on my sleeping form nestled against him. "She's exhausted. She just fell asleep."

To make me forget. To fill the silence that death left behind.
And he did. He held me like I was something fragile.
Kissed me like I was the only thing he needed to breathe.
Then left me bleeding with six words that burned deeper than rejection ever could.
So, I ran. Away from everything that cost me pain.
Now, five years later, I'm back.
Fresh from rejecting the mate who abused me. Still carrying the scars of a pup I never got to hold.
And the man waiting for me at the airport isn't my brother.
It's Tristan.
