I started to descend the steps as my curiosity spiked. I took about five steps down before a big bang was heard as the floor above me closed. I shrieked a little and sat down in the pitch black. I searched for my phone in my jeans pocket but remembered leaving it on the desk. I cursed myself as I was ready to pull at my own hair, but the darkness subsided and light flooded the cave-like underground.

'My name is Robert, Robert Leatherman. And you are...?' 'Anastasia Webb,' I introduced myself. He nodded, crossing his hands together on the desk. He began to speak again, 'There is a talk going around the realm that a new face has entered. No one knows where you come from or who you are. So tell me, do you come from a different coven?' 'Coven? Realm? What are you talking about? I came from my house, from the cave.' I was so confused.

Ch4 I'm a what?

He pulled out a photo album, 'How old did you say you were?' 'Twenty-two?' I answered, a little worried. 'You were born in 2001?' 'Yes, in November.' He opened the photo album to a picture of my parents. They looked happy, drinking beer. 'The picture was taken on Halloween. Look at your mother, look at her stomach.' I looked and realized she wasn't pregnant in the picture. If I was born in November, shouldn't she have a big belly in this picture?

Ch5 The revelation

After the prophecy was revealed to Edward and Maria, they were happy, but they knew a girl wouldn't make it too far. So they prayed for a boy. They told no one of the pregnancy when Maria became pregnant and moved to the mortal world, telling friends that they were going on holiday. They lived in the mortal world and checked into a mortal hospital when the time to give birth came.

'I'm Damon, I'm a vampire. You are?' He stuck out his hand for me to shake. 'Uh, hi, nice to meet you. I'm Anastasia. Apparently, I'm a witch.' I shook his hand and my head at the same time. He smiled at me. 'Well, it's a pleasure to meet you too. Now, what's wrong? You seem lost.' 'Oh my God, Damon, so good to see you!' The voice made me jump. It was Robert. Damon looked at me, confused, trying to figure out why I jumped.
