“Sky hurry up or you’ll be late for your first day on the Job” Ivy yelled from the top of the stairs.

“I’m coming hold your horses”, I said making my way up the flight of stairs to the dorm rooms. It was my second semester at the prestigious Havenwood college. Ivy was my roommate; she was easy to get along with seeing as we’re rarely in the room with each other and she didn’t ask many questions.

Chapter 2

By the end of the first month, Darla came though on her promise and got me a bank account. We were sitting in her office.

“So, Sky you’ve got your bank details right”? she said

“Yes, Thank you so much”.

“It’s nothing sweetie”, she said handing me a manilla envelope and a check.

“What’s this”?

Chapter 3

“With time you’ll understand,” he said as he grabbed my face, and his tongue speared into my mouth.

“You taste too fucking sweet,” he said with a chuckle.

“Be careful and remember I’m always watching you. Someone will take you home”, he said, and I felt him move. He picked me up off the floor and began walking. I could smell his cologne. It was strong and rich; I’ve never smelt anything like it before.

Chapter 4

SKYLAR: Hello

Nothing, I saw Ivy looking at me.

SKYLAR: WHAT THE HELL IS IT?

ASHER: you have twenty minutes to get dressed and come outside. The car is waiting for you.

SKYLAR: NO

ASHER: NOW SKYLAR

I ended the call and checked the time. Shit, it was after nine. I blocked his number and threw the phone down onto the bed and went and grabbed a quick shower.

Prologue
