Persephone Masquiat is a girl who has been born in most powerful Light witch covens but without any powers of her own. The night her mother announces to mate her off with a werewolf Alpha Persephone runs. But as soon as she breaches the walls of the coven home she is kidnapped and assaulted by a few human males and werewolves who think that they have found the easy prey to play with but they fail and she is protected by a dragon who takes her to a different realm to save her.
During the Awakening ceremony, she exhibits power affinity to earth, fire, water, air, spirit, and Light and dark magic both. Along with that she has a vision which causes her to faint and the next time she wakes up she is told that she is a demi-goddess.
Gradually she finds her other Protectors in the school itself. One vampire named Wilhelm Sangui. Second, the Supreme Sorceror named Bernard the second. Third, the dragon whom she had called for the first time when she was endangered named Zmiyrenan. Fourth was a male siren named Myr. And to her massive distaste, there was a werewolf with incubus powers named Xiomar.
She was a Champion of Calamity who had been born to fight the Chaos that was soon coming in to disturb and claim all the realms to force the universe into darkness. As she dies in battle, her mates start grieving and start such a streak of destruction that they had to be put to sleep. But Persephone comes to realise that she is no one other than the original Greek Goddess Persephone who needed to shed her mortal coil so that she could become a Goddess. And her five mates were all the soul bearers of Hades.
