“You want me,” Ace said with a smirk, his fingers grazing Spades’ cheek.

“I see it in your eyes, in the way your body responds to mine. You want me just as much as I want you. So why fight it, Spades? Why fight me?” he murmured, pressing their bodies together.

Spades stood frozen, torn between desire and dread, his heart hammering. Rage flickered in his voice.

“You’re married to my stepsister. You’re the heir to the Bratva. Do I need to list more reasons why this is a terrible idea? Why will this never work? You chose her, Ace. You married her. Think. Let me go.”

I don’t understand but I nod still. “Okay.”

“You have a very skilful mouth. If I catch you fucking around, I’ll make you beg for death. You belong to Nathaniel Bianchi. Don’t ever forget that.” He seethes, and I nod.

“Yes, I belong to you.”

I don’t want to belong to him, but I want to live, and if this is the price to pay, then I will.
