Emmalyn had always lived along, tucked away safely in her sanctuary. The thought that it wasn’t safe nagged at the back of her mind when she did have to leave. After all, she needed things she couldn’t provide. It was on one of those trips when they spotted her. She healed a hurt child. Now, the wolves and vampires both know who she is and where she is.
Taken with little resistance, they spirited away Emmalyn away in one of their wagons. Emmalyn was not expecting to be traveling in the company of wolves, handsome wolves at that.
Their prophecy differs from the one she learned. Emmalyn only knew that she would help keep balance in the forest. They taught the wolves she would bring change and rebirth with a golden trilogy. For the vampires, she was the key to bringing their long-dead legend back to life at the expense of her own.
Will the wolves be able to keep Emmalyn safe? Will the vampires ever relent in their constant search for her?

Levando-a com pouca resistência, eles a levaram embora em uma de suas carroças. Emmalyn não esperava estar viajando na companhia de lobos, lobos bonitos, por sinal.
A profecia deles é diferente da que ela aprendeu. Emmalyn só sabia que ajudaria a manter o equilíbrio na floresta. Eles ensinaram aos lobos que ela traria mudança e renascimento com uma trilogia dourada. Para os vampiros, ela era a chave para trazer sua lenda há muito morta de volta à vida, à custa da própria vida dela.
Será que os lobos conseguirão manter Emmalyn segura? Será que os vampiros algum dia desistirão de sua busca constante por ela?
